Classroom Management
Establish and maintain effective classroom procedures and expectations

Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Collaboration & Professional Responsibilities
Collaborate with administrators, counselors, teachers, and support staff to promote student success
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress
Participate in faculty meetings, professional learning communities, and required professional development
Maintain accurate student records, grades, and attendance in accordance with district policies
School & Community Engagement
Support school initiatives and participate in school-wide activities as appropriate
Serve on committees or assist with extracurricular activities when assigned
Uphold district policies and maintain professional and ethical standards
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field
Valid North Carolina teaching license in Mathematics (or eligibility to obtain licensure)
Knowledge of the North Carolina Standard Course of Study for Mathematics
Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
Commitment to continuous professional growth and student achievement
Working Conditions
Requires standing, walking, and moving throughout the instructional day
Occasional lifting of instructional materials and classroom equipment up to 20 pounds
Frequent use of computers, instructional technology, and classroom equipment
May require attendance at evening events, parent conferences, and school activities
